The investment was made through the US$523 million ECP Africa Fund II. Kwikspace is a manufacturer of prefabricated buildings. The transaction is valued at approximately US$101 million. This is Carlyle's third investment in Asia's educational sector following last year's US$20 million investments in both China's NeWorld Education Group and South Korea's Topia Education. The investment was the eighth made through the US$50 million Mekong Enterprise Fund II. Globant operates seven delivery centers across Latin America. The value of the transaction was not disclosed. Bancroft is currently in the process of raising commitments for its third fund.
